Spiritual Formation through Congregational Worship

Dr. Jeff Greenman, President and Professor of Theology and Ethics at Regent College, Vancouver, B.C. Canada

Date: 09 June 2017 19:00 Venue: Evangelical Community Church (ECC) Ministry Center, Unit 417-421, 4/F, Hankow Centre  | Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong

What is the connection between Sunday worship and the Monday realities of our lives? Often there is a disconnect. Sunday and Monday can seem like separate worlds. Most Christians are familiar with the experience of congregational worship—fellowship together through songs, prayers, and sermon are among the standard elements. But have we asked: how might congregational worship shape our lives, our desires, and our character? What impact should a lifetime of attending Sunday services make upon us? Could Sunday worship possibly shape Christlike character? This seminar explores the rich possibilities of connecting congregational worship, spiritual formation, Christian character, and the church’s mission.

There is no cost,  However, please register by emailing us at
